Example

The following two are equivalent:

#ifdef A
    // Code for A.
  #else
  #ifdef B
    // Code for B.
  #else
  #ifdef C

  #else

  #endif
  #endif
  #endif

And

#ifdef A
    // Code for A.
  #elif defined(B)
    // Code for B.
